Tuberose absolute is not a quiet material. It opens white-hot and creamy, almost narcotic, before Pahang sandalwood and Pursat oud pull it down into something wearable.

Most houses would soften the tuberose. We left it alone and built underneath it instead — sandalwood for the cream, Pursat oud for the honeyed floor it lands on.

Not worn quietly. Carried like a flame in an open hand.
